EXPERT CHOICE, INC.UNVEILS NEW WEB-BASED, COLLABORATIVE DECISION MAKING APPLICATION

ARLINGTON, Va., October 17, 2006. — Expert Choice, Inc., a leading provider of decision making solutions, today announced the debut of Comparion for EC11™— a web-based, collaborative decision making application that enables stakeholders to participate in decisions at a time and place that is convenient to them.

The user-friendly software solution—which can be installed internally, or hosted on Expert Choice’s servers—represents Expert Choice’s first addition to its new Comparion Product Line.  Designed on the principles of ease, access and collaboration Comparion for EC11 enables organizations to include internal and external stakeholders in establishing the priority of both objectives and alternatives.  Controlling over 40 settings, decision facilitators can establish a simple linear path for evaluators who only need to have access to a web browser to provide judgments and comments on priority of objectives and alternatives.

“Comparion for EC11 improves organizational decision making by removing the scheduling and travel barriers that inhibit organizations from including key stakeholders in decisions,” says Rich Dougherty, chief executive officer of Expert Choice.  “It’s very easy to access and the intuitive interface requires no training.  We believe that organizations now have the power to dramatically improve return on human capital by enabling decision makers to solicit, and meaningfully combine, the insights of their team members.  No longer are you limited to the input of colleagues sitting across the conference table, but now you can include the judgment from employees throughout the organization to make better informed decisions,” he added.

“What we are seeing is organizations leveraging Comparion to include both internal and external stakeholders’ input in organizational decision making.  Comparion is so easy to use, and has such a low barrier to entry, that customers can now meaningfully prioritize the importance of their needs for both products and services.  This gives among others, senior strategic planners and product managers a very powerful tool.” notes Andri Haraldsson, team leader for Comparion.
